Common uses

  • Add a cover image to an EPUB created from plain text or Markdown
  • Replace a low-resolution cover with a higher-quality version
  • Add a professional cover to a self-published manuscript
  • Fix a missing cover before Kindle or Apple Books upload

Limitations

  • DRM-protected EPUBs cannot be modified.
  • Cover page HTML is not automatically created — only the cover image asset is added. Some reading apps generate a cover page from the cover image automatically; others require a cover HTML page.
  • Recommended cover size: 1600×2560 px (2:3 portrait ratio).
